Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 76 984 tonnes during November 2014.
According to data released by the South African Revenue Service, imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 76 984 tonnes during November 2014, a decrease of 45,4% compared with 140 916 tonnes imported during October 2014 and a decrease of 37,5% compared with 123 144 tonnes imported during November 2013.
Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) during the first eleven months of 2014 amount to 933 235 tonnes, a decrease of 27,2% compared with 1 281 458 tonnes of primary carbon and alloy steel products imported during the corresponding period of 2013.
Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) during the twelve months December 2013 to November 2014 amount to 991 389 tonnes, a decrease of 26,0% compared with 1 340 362 tonnes of primary carbon and alloy steel products imported during the corresponding twelve month period.
