Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 82 376 tonnes during September 2014.
According to data released by the South African Revenue Service, imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 82 376 tonnes during September 2014, an increase of 9,9% compared with 74 956 tonnes imported during August 2014 and an increase of 54,4% compared with 53 339 tonnes imported during September 2013.
Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) during the first nine months of 2014 amount to 715 335 tonnes, a decrease of 31,0% compared with 1 036 512 tonnes of primary carbon and alloy steel products imported during the corresponding period of 2013.
Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) during the twelve months October 2013 to September 2014 amount to 1 018 435 tonnes, a decrease of 19,2% compared with 1 260 881 tonnes of primary carbon and alloy steel products imported during the corresponding twelve month period.
