Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 140 916 tonnes during October 2014.
According to data released by the South African Revenue Service, imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 140 916 tonnes during October 2014, an increase of 71,1% compared with 82 376 tonnes imported during September 2014 and an increase of 15,7% compared with 121 802 tonnes imported during October 2013.
Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) during the first ten months of 2014 amount to 856 251 tonnes, a decrease of 26,1% compared with 1 158 314 tonnes of primary carbon and alloy steel products imported during the corresponding period of 2013.
Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) during the twelve months November 2013 to October 2014 amount to 1 037 549 tonnes, a decrease of 20,4% compared with 1 304 146 tonnes of primary carbon and alloy steel products imported during the corresponding twelve month period.
