Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 86 718 tonnes during September 2015.
According to data released by the South African Revenue Service, imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 86 718 tonnes during September 2015, an increase of 18,0% compared with 73 485 tonnes imported during August 2015 and an increase of 5,3% compared with 82 367 tonnes imported during September 2014.
Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) during the first nine months of 2015 amount to 1 077 069 tonnes, an increase of 51,0% compared with 713 328 tonnes of primary carbon and alloy steel products imported during the corresponding period of 2014.
Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) during the twelve months October 2014 to September 2015 amount to
1 400 155 tonnes, an increase of 37,7% compared with 1 016 500 tonnes of primary carbon and alloy steel products imported during the corresponding twelve month
period.
