Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 133 091 tonnes during January 2015.
According to data released by the South African Revenue Service, imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 133 091 tonnes during January 2015, an increase of 26,5% compared with 105 192 tonnes imported during December 2014 and an increase of 44,5% compared with 92 096 tonnes imported during January 2014.
Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) during the twelve months February 2014 to January 2015 amount to 1 079 422 tonnes, a decrease of 19,3% compared with 1 337 353 tonnes of primary carbon and alloy steel products imported during the corresponding twelve month period.
