According to data collected from the members of SAISI, the steel consuming industries and steel merchants, the level of steel stocks on hand amounts to 1 494 810 tons at the end of June 2006 compared with 1 767 954 tons at the end of June 2005 and 1 532 599 tons at the end of March 2006.
The level of steel stocks on hand at the steel consuming industries and steel merchants amounts to 723 599 tons at the end of June 2006 compared with 678 550 tons at the end of June 2005 and 698 588 tons at the end of March 2006.
