According to data released by the carbon steel members of SAISI, sales of primary carbon steel products to the domestic market amount to 492 272 tons during July 2006 compared with 486 023 tons during June 2006 and 357 312 tons during July 2005.
Sales of primary carbon steel products to the export market amount to 211 241 tons during July 2006 compared with 208 054 tons during June 2006 and 305 958 tons during July 2005.
