According to data released by the carbon steel members of SAISI, sales of primary carbon steel products to the domestic market amount to 486 028 tons during June 2006 compared with 473 344 tons during May 2006 and 353 858 tons during June 2005.
Sales of primary carbon steel products to the export market amount to 208 054 tons during June 2006 compared with 240 017 tons during May 2006 and 218 583 tons during June 2005.
