According to data released by the carbon steel members of SAISI, sales of primary carbon steel products to the domestic market amount to 416 760 tons during February 2006 compared with 397 207 tons during January 2006 and 331 686 tons during February 2005.
Sales of primary carbon steel products to the export market amount to 279 188 tons during February 2006 compared with 254 784 tons during January 2006 and 299 284 tons during February 2005.
