According to data collected from the carbon steel producing members of SAISI, carbon steel sales to the major industrial groups during quarter 2 of 2006 was allocated as follows:
Mining industries: 3,8% (3.7% - q1/06)
Manufacturing industries: 53,7% (54,1% - q1/06)
Building and construction industries: 23,0% (22,3% - q1/06)
Unallocated: 19,5% (19,9% - q1/06)
