According to data collected from the members of SAISI, the steel consuming industries and steel merchants, the level of steel stocks on hand amounts to 1 581 229 tons at the end of December 2005 compared with 1 635 249 tons at the end of December 2004 and 1 565 008 tons at the end of September 2005.
The level of steel stocks on hand at the steel consuming industries and steel merchants amounts to 604 124 tons at the end of December 2005 compared with 751 310 tons at the end of December 2004 and 602 585 tons at the end of September 2005.
